What Really Happened Radio Show: Michael Rivero Thursday July 25 2013
Date: 07/25/2013
Michael Rivero is the webmaster of http://whatreallyhappened.com/ and host of the What Really Happened radio shows on the Republic Broadcasting Network. Formerly with NASA, Michael transitioned his image processing skills (along with a brief stint as an actor) into the then-new motion picture computer animation field and has worked on films such as "Star Trek", "The Day After Tomorrow", and has supervised visual effects on "Brainscan," "LOST", and "Hawaii Five-0." Michael has taken a sabbatical from film work to focus all his efforts on peace activism. Michaels foray into blogging began before the word was even invented, and happened almost by accident when he spotted a suspicious photograph being broadcast on ABC news in 1994 related to the death of White House deputy Council Vincent Foster. Since that sudden beginning, Michaels website has expanded to cover diverse topics including the JFK assassination, the accidental shoot-down of TWA 800, election fraud, health issues, Saddams non-existent nuclear weapons, 9-11, the economy, and of course, the lies used to trick the United States into wars of conquest on Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Iran. Michael resides in Hawaii with his wife Claire, who is a composer and creates much of theme music used on the What Really Happened radio show.

UK Addiction To SURVEILLANCE: The BIG BROTHER Society. CCTV, Freedoms & Privacy ?
There are up to 5.9 million CCTV cameras in Britain, according to a report by The British Security Industry Association.
It's thought Britain could have more CCTV cameras than any other country in the world.
Evidence
Footage from CCTV cameras is often used by police as evidence to convict criminals, and some people believe this helps prevent crime.
Much of Britain has been fixated on this number ever since (a figure derived by counting those cameras present on Putney High Street in London and extrapolating upwards for a 'guesstimate'). We've been consistently bombarded with hypotheses on the supposed rise of the "Surveillance State" and George Orwell's Big Brother coming to life ever since.
The BSIA's 51-page document focuses on the number of properties in the UK, floor area, and "alternative appropriate estimates". It accounts for the number of CCTV cameras located in (for example) offices, factories, warehouses, schools, department stores, car parks, and railway stations, and those deployed for "security surveillance, related monitoring and safety aspects". Low-, medium-, and upper-level camera figures for the UK are tabulated.
According to the BSIA, camera numbers in the private sector could be outweighing those operated by the police and local authorities by a factor of somewhere around 70:1.
So the vast majority of cameras are privately owned and operated -- very much contrary to popular opinion that we're all living in a "Surveillance State".
Parliament has made a pleasing start to regulating CCTV and its operation, not least through the auspices of the Security Industry Authority and its own Public Space Surveillance licensing regime.
Is it, though, addressing what many commentators believe to be the central challenge -- the extent of camera proliferation in the private sector and the need for it to be closely monitored?
As stated, evidence to help solve cases of criminality unearthed by the police service often comes from cameras stationed in the private sector, but how many times have we heard about "less than perfect" installations or accusations of generally poor CCTV management? Are CCTV systems genuinely "fit for purpose" (i.e. are they fully operational and recording properly)? Do surveillance solutions meet the needs of their end-users (around image quality, for example)?
Increasingly, more companies wish their premises to be protected by CCTV, but, at the very same time, more non-specialist installers are entering the fray and itching to grab a slice of the commercial action.
Such regulation will ensure the private sector provides the highest-quality video evidence possible for use by the police and the courts. A situation that's very much for the public good.
A new camera technology from Hitachi Hokusai Electric can scan days of camera footage instantly, and find any face which has EVER walked past it.
ts makers boast that it can scan 36 million faces per second.
The technology raises the spectre of governments -- or other organisations -- being able to 'find' anyone instantly simply using a passport photo or a Facebook profile.
The 'trick' is that the camera 'processes' faces as it records, so that all faces which pass in front of it are recorded and stored instantly.
Faces are stored as a searchable 'biometric' record, storing the unique
When the police -- or anyone else -- want to search for a particular individual, they're searching through a gallery of pre-indexed faces, rather than a messy library of footage.
It is so intrusive that Britain may be in breach of human rights laws, he warned, and most people are ignorant of how sophisticated technology has become.
technological ability to use millions of images we capture -- there will be a huge public backlash. It is the Big Brother scenario playing out large. It's the ability to pick out your face in a crowd from a camera which is probably half a mile away."
Imagine if Google or Facebook decided to install their own CCTV cameras everywhere, gathering data about our movements, recording our lives and joining up every camera in the land in one giant control room. It's Orwellian surveillance with fluffier branding. And this isn't just video surveillance --

"The greatest threat facing America today is the disastrous fiscal policies of our own government, marked by shameless deficit spending and Federal Reserve currency devaluation. It is this one-two punch-- Congress spending more than it can tax or borrow, and the Fed printing money to make up the difference-- that threatens to impoverish us by further destroying the value of our dollars."

Alex Jones Show: Mancow Muller & Norm Stamper - Thursday (7-25-13)
On the Thursday, July 25 edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex analyzes the meaning behind NATO's largest military exercises since the Cold War, centered around a "foreign invasion" of Poland. Alex also breaks down neo-con Lindsey Graham's promise to introduce legislation calling for a military attack on Iran, and new video evidence showing the ease by which modern vehicles can be remotely manipulated, adding fuel to theories surrounding journalist Michael Hastings' suspicious death. On today's show, Alex welcomes American radio and television personality Mancow Muller of Chicago station WPWR to discuss the multiple distractions keeping Americans from pursuing justice for the constitutional infractions committed on a routine basis. Alex also welcomes former Seattle Police Chief Norm Stamper to flesh out the militarization of America's police forces and why he believes people incarcerated for non-violent drug offenses should be released from jail.

The Mysterious Death of Jim Morrison of The Doors
Starting in the first hour, author R. Gary Patterson was joined by guitarist Robby Krieger and keyboardist Ray Manzarek, both from the legendary Doors. The two musicians discussed being part of the group, working with Jim Morrison, and questions surrounding his death in Paris in 1971. Manzarek said he and Morrison decided to form the Doors after running into each other on the beach in Venice in 1965 (they had gone to school together at UCLA). Two years later, they had a #1 hit with Light My Fire, which was written by Krieger.
Morrison and the Doors sought in their performances to create a ceremony to "release the Dionysian impulse" and offer a "séance to palliate the dead," Manzarek explained, adding that Morrison always had a strong interest in the subject of death. The Doors' manager went to Paris to deal with Morrison's death, but later admitted he never saw the body, and the coffin was sealed, Krieger recounted. Manzarek doubted that he could still be alive, as some have claimed, but that if he had faked his death, it would mean he doesn't want to be found.
Krieger noted that towards the time of Morrison's death, he appeared to have a serious medical condition and was coughing up blood. The condition might have been TB, said Patterson, who commented there were many unanswered questions in the star's death. In the last hour, Patterson took calls about Morrison, and other rock 'n' roll mysteries.
Wikipedia
In the summer of 1965, after graduating with a degree from the UCLA film school, Morrison led a bohemian lifestyle in Venice Beach. Living on the rooftop of a building inhabited by his old UCLA cinematography friend, Dennis Jakobs, he wrote the lyrics of many of the early songs the Doors would later perform live and record on albums, the most notable being "Moonlight Drive" and "Hello, I Love You"[citation needed]. According to Jakobs, he lived on canned beans and LSD for several months[citation needed]. Morrison and fellow UCLA student, Ray Manzarek, were the first two members of the Doors, forming the group during that same summer of 1965. They had previously met months earlier as fellow cinematography students. The now-legendary story claims that Manzarek was lying on the beach at Venice one day, where he accidentally encountered Morrison[citation needed]. He was impressed with Morrison's poetic lyrics, claiming that they were "rock group" material. Subsequently, drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robby Krieger joined. Krieger auditioned at Densmore's recommendation and was then added to the lineup. All three musicians shared a common interest in the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's meditation practices at the time, attending scheduled classes, but Morrison was not involved in this series of classes, claiming later that he "did not meditate"[citation needed].

The Doors took their name from the title of Aldous Huxley's book The Doors of Perception (a reference to the unlocking of doors of perception through psychedelic drug use). Huxley's own title was a quotation from William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, in which Blake wrote: "If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite." Although Morrison was known as the lyricist of the group, Krieger also made significant lyrical contributions, writing or co-writing some of the group's biggest hits, including "Light My Fire", "Love Me Two Times", "Love Her Madly", and "Touch Me". On the other hand, Morrison, who didn't write most songs using an instrument, would come up with vocal melodies for his own lyrics, with the other band members contributing chords and rhythm nor did he play an instrument live (except for maracas and tambourine for most shows, and harmonica on a few occasions) or in the studio (excluding maracas, tambourine, handclaps, and whistling). However, he did play the grand piano on "Orange County Suite" and a Moog synthesizer on "Strange Days". In June 1966, Morrison and the Doors were the opening act at the Whisky a Go Go on the last week of the residency of Van Morrison's band Them. Van's influence on Jim's developing stage performance was later noted by John Densmore in his book Riders On The Storm: "Jim Morrison learned quickly from his near-namesake's stagecraft, his apparent recklessness, his air of subdued menace, the way he would improvise poetry to a rock beat, even his habit of crouching down by the bass drum during instrumental breaks." On the final night, the two Morrisons and their two bands jammed together on "Gloria
ROAD TO WW3 - Russia Furious About NATO Drill Centered Around "Foreign Invasion"; TSA Dirty Bomb
Russia Furious About NATO Drill Centered Around "Foreign Invasion"
Russia has slammed an upcoming NATO military exercise set to take place in the ex-Soviet Baltic republics that centers around a "foreign invasion" of Poland and represents the organization's biggest training drill since the Cold War.
Entitled Steadfast Jazz 2013, the drill will test the command and control elements of NATO's Response Force in response to a simulated invasion of Poland by a "foreign power". The exercise, set to take place in November, will also be held in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Planning for the drill began over a year ago.
Russia's Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov complained that the NATO drill invoked cold war tensions.
"I can't hide the fact that the Russian Defense Ministry was bewildered by the proclaimed goal of this exercise, which envisages the application of Article 5 of the Washington Treaty triggering a response to an aggression against Poland. These drills are in the spirit of the Cold War," Antonov told RIA Novosti.
The exercise represents NATO's largest training drill since the Cold War and is in response to the "real fear of external aggression" in that region of Europe, according to the Heritage Foundation.
Although expressing anger over NATO wargames which ostensibly simulate a Russian attack on Poland, Russia itself has conducted drills over the past two weeks that also represent their biggest such military exercises since the Cold War.
As we reported on Tuesday, Russia ordered its missile defense forces in the Urals region to conduct a "snap drill" involving the redeployment of missile units in order to achieve "high alert" readiness within a short time frame.
This followed the largest military exercises since the Soviet era last week which involved 130 combat aircraft, 70 ships, 5,000 tanks, 160,000 troops and 320 tons of equipment. The drill, which took place near the border with China, "was intended to simulate a response to a hypothetical attack by Japanese and US forces," according to Konstantin Sivkov, a retired officer of the Russian military's General Staff.
Having recently intercepted Russian strategic bombers that were practicing "bombing runs against U.S. and Japanese military bases" in the Western Pacific, it was reported today that Japan is set to dispense with its pacifist constitution and consider "acquiring the ability to launch pre-emptive military strikes."
Russia's displeasure at NATO wargames so close to its border follow the former Soviet state's decision to develop a new missile defense radar in southern Russia designed to counter missiles launched from Europe, as part of maneuvers which pose, "a strategic threat to the United States and NATO allies," according to US military officials.
Russia is also working on a new generation of nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles called the Yars-M which "Russian officials say will be able to penetrate U.S. missile defenses."
Last year, Russia threatened to conduct military strikes against NATO targets in Poland and Romania if missile defense radars were deployed in eastern Europe. NATO and the US claim the missile defense system is to counter Iran, but many geopolitical analysts concur that it is primarily aimed at Russia.

URGENT BREAKING NEWS - Uranium Detected At Miami Airport
Portions of an airport in Miami, Florida have been evacuated after depleted uranium was discovered early Thursday.
Firefighters have cleared a 150-foot area of the Opa-locka Executive Airport in south Florida after a 55 gallon drum located either on or near part of a dismantled aircraft was discovered to be containing exposed, depleted uranium, NBC 6 South Florida reported.
Opa-locka is a reliever airport which serves as a secondary landing field for aircraft normally going in and out of the larger Miami International Airport. It also is a hub used by the United States Coast Guard for air and sea rescue stations.
According to a local NBC affiliate, officials at Opa-locka say there are no reported injuries.

Richard Wolff : This Is an Abomination How U.S. Bailed Out Car Makers, But Abandoned Detroit
At the height of the financial crisis, the U.S. government bailed out two major Detroit auto makers, General Motors and Chrysler. But it never bailed out Detroit, economist Richard Wolff notes. In fact, since part of the deal for the bailout involved gutting the wages of new workers, the bailout ensured that "if the car companies could come back, Detroit couldn't, because the return of workers to the automobile industries would be workers paid $14 or $15 an hour, and that puts you below the poverty wage in the United States," Wolff says. "This is an abomination in which the top, the industry, the big corporations are bailed out, and the very cities that depend on them are told to fend for themselves."
Americans Exposed to Cancerous Levels of Toxins
It looks like cancer may be in a lot of peoples' future. If tshtf, then conventional medicine may be unavailable. There are many herbal remedies that help boost your immune system and for some, have been a cure. Do your own research and stock up before you need them.
Here are the top sources of these food toxins:
Arsenic: poultry, cereal, salmon, tuna, mushrooms.
DDE: dairy, potatoes, meat, freshwater fish, pizza.
Dieldrin: dairy, meat, cucumber, cantaloupe, pizza.
Chlordane: dairy, cucumber, meat, popcorn, potatoes.
Dioxins: dairy, meat, potatoes, cereal, mushrooms.
Acrylamide: crackers, fried potatoes, cereal, graham crackers, chips.
Going organic and giving up processed foods is the best way to steer clear of these foods and know, with reasonable certainty, what you are putting in your body.

Programmable Matter & Future Medicine - The Next Wave of Science - Natural Radiation Protection 2011 With Michio Kaku
Dr. Michio Kaku is an internationally recognized authority in theoretical physics and the environment. He holds the Henry Semat Professorship in Theoretical Physics at the City College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He has lectured around the world and his Ph.D. level textbooks are required reading at many of the top physics laboratories. Dr. Kaku graduated from Harvard in 1968, summa cum laude, and number one in his physics class.
He received a Ph.D. from the University. of California at Berkeley Radiation Laboratory in 1972. He held a lectureship at Princeton University in 1973. He then joined the faculty at the City University of New York, where he has been a professor of theoretical physics for 25 years. His goal is to help complete Einstein's dream of a theory of everything, a single equation, perhaps no more than one inch long, which will unify all the fundamental forces in the universe.
Theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku discussed where science is taking us over the next century, and presented revolutionary developments in medicine, computers, quantum physics, and space travel. He pointed to four areas which will propel the evolution of science over the next 100 years: biotechnology, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, and telecommunications. To that end, he surmised that someone from the year 2100 will be able to move things with their mind, possess "near perfect," ageless bodies, travel via flying vehicles propelled by super magnets, and have the ability to create a variety of unique creatures using genetics. "We're going to become the Gods that we once feared and worshipped," Kaku said.

How Our Monetary System Works And Fails
For Sale: The American Dream
The US' housing bubble burst nearly six years ago, but the worst may be yet to come.
After a landmark settlement, the major banks have lifted a freeze on foreclosures and government relief has been too small to make a difference.
"We are often portrayed as the bad people, like we basically just come in and make all the money from people who are in bad situations. But the fact is, if we don't buy the property then the bank [will] take the property back."
- Amy Chen, a real estate investor
Public housing budgets have been slashed, leaving larger numbers of people with no place to call home.
The line between home ownership and homelessness is growing ever more blurry, but neither President Barack Obama nor Governor Mitt Romney have made housing a major campaign issue.
Meanwhile, popular anger is rising over the perceived impunity of the banks and some have found innovative ways of fighting back in an age of austerity.
Fault Lines travels to Chicago and California to see how people at the frontlines of the crisis are confronting the collapse of the American dream.
"If you ask people who have been foreclosed upon, whose fault is it? They often they say it's mine. It's my fault, I did the wrong thing, instead of kind of saying this is a systemic problem," explains David Harvey, a social theorist and a professor of anthropology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
"Capital is always producing surpluses, at the end of the day if you have got a profit, you've got a surplus and the big question is what do you do with it.
"[So] what you do is that you take part of that surplus and you reinvest it in something. And in United States, housing and urbanisation in general has been a vast field for expansion of profitable opportunities."
