Jim Marrs is an award-winning journalist and has over 30 years experience with several Texas newspapers. In 1999, he began teaching a course on UFOs, perhaps one of the first university level UFO courses in the nation. Jim also investigated the U.S. Army's remote viewing program three years before it was publicly acknowledged by the CIA and then produced "Alien Agenda." Biography

Since 1976, Marrs has taught a course on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy at the University of Texas at Arlington. In 1989, his book, Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy, was published and reached the New York Times Paperback Non-Fiction Best Seller list in mid-February 1992. It became a basis for the Oliver Stone film JFK. Marrs served as a chief consultant for both the film's screenplay and production,Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy.

Beginning in 1992, Marrs spent three years researching and completing a non-fiction book on a top-secret government program called the Stargate Project involving the psychic phenomenon known as remote viewing, only to have the program canceled as it was going to press in the summer of 1995. Within two months, the story of military-developed remote viewing broke nationally in the Washington Post after the CIA revealed the program.

In May 1997, Marrs' investigation of UFOs, Alien Agenda, was published by HarperCollins Publishers. Publishers Weekly described Alien Agenda as "the most entertaining and complete overview of flying saucers and their crew in years." The paperback edition was released in mid-1998. It has been translated into several foreign languages and become the top-selling UFO book in the world.

In early 2000, HarperCollins published Rule by Secrecy, which claimed to trace a hidden history connecting modern secret societies to ancient and medieval times. This book also reached the New York Times Best Seller list. In 2003, his book The War on Freedom probed the alleged conspiracies of the 9/11 attacks and their aftermath. It was released in 2006 under the title The Terror Conspiracy.

Marrs has been a featured speaker at a number of national conferences including the annual International UFO Congress and the annual Gulf Breeze UFO Conference, but he also speaks at local conferences, such as Conspiracy Con and The Bay Area UFO Expo.[8] Beginning in 2000, he began teaching a course on UFOs at the University of Texas at Arlington. Marrs usually also gives a book signing at Brave New Books in Austin, Texas at least once a year.

Marrs has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, C-SPAN, The Discovery Channel, TLC, The History Channel, This Morning America, Geraldo, The Montel Williams Show, Today, TechTV, Larry King (with George Noory), and Art Bell radio programs, as well as numerous national and regional radio and TV shows.

Marine to Feinstein's Gun Proposal: Unconstitutional Laws are not Laws

Former United States Marine Joshua Boston has written an open letter to California Senator Dianne Feinstein about her proposed gun control legislation and it's making waves across the internet. In the letter, Boston tells Feinstein she has no business regulating guns and says he "will not register" his guns even if the bill is passed, because he does not believe it is the "government's right" to know what weapons he owns. "Unconstitutional laws aren't laws," he says. The letter was first published on CNN iReport and in it, Boston writes, "You ma'am have overstepped a line that is not your domain." He appeared on CNN Saturday Morning to discuss his views and said he didn't know the letter would go viral as quickly as it did. "All the points being brought up by Senator Feinstein -- a lot of it is misinformation. It's fear-mongering," he added. He also notes in the letter he will not have "some woman" tell him he can no longer have his weapons.

Jacques F. Vallee : UFOs & Remote Viewing

One of the most quoted authors in the field of Ufology, Silicon Valley entrepreneur Jacques F. Vallee discussed his work on UFO phenomena, as well as his interest in remote viewing and parapsychology. Remote viewer Paul H. Smith joined in during the conversation, noting that Vallee will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Remote Viewing Conference in Las Vegas.

Vallee, who distanced himself from ufology for a number of years, said the study of UFOs became less focused on science and more embroiled in a debate over belief systems. He spoke about first witnessing a saucer-shaped craft in 1955, and his years working with investigator J. Allen Hynek. Over time, Vallee began to doubt the extraterrestrial hypothesis for UFOs. He looked at unusual sightings dating back centuries, where such incidents were thought to be associated with ghosts, demons or supernatural forces. The phenomena is saying we don't understand space-time, and that our universe is a subset of something else, he asserted.

Vallee discussed his long-standing friendship with Ingo Swann (considered the father of remote viewing) and their participation at SRI at the very beginning of the RV program in 1971. Remote viewing's funding by intelligence agencies such as the CIA has been both a blessing and a curse, said Vallee. Mission-oriented projects were pushed forward before the science was fine tuned, he explained.

Dr. Jacques F. Vallee was a senior researcher at the DARPA-funded Augmentation Research Center at SRI at the very beginning of the RV program initiated by Dr. Puthoff and Russell Targ in 1971. Given his long-standing interest in consciousness research, he became informally associated with the program and is credited by Ingo Swann for suggesting the approach that led to the coordinate remote viewing protocol. In the mid-eighties, Dr. Vallee was brought back to SRI as a consultant. He was cleared for Grill Flame, went through formal training with Ingo Swann, and contributed to the methodology research that Dr. Ed May later led at SAIC. His experience spans the entire life of the program and gives him a special position as an observer and commentator on the reality of remote viewing.

Dr. Vallee also has long been interested in the UFO phenomenon and has earned the reputation of being one of the most rigorous and credible researchers in the field. He was the model for the French scientist figure played by Francois Truffaut in Steven Speilberg's classic film "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."

Jacques Fabrice Vallée (born September 24, 1939 in Pontoise, Val-d'Oise, France) is a venture capitalist, computer scientist, author, ufologist and former astronomer currently residing in San Francisco, California.

In mainstream science, Vallée is notable for co-developing the first computerized mapping of Mars for NASA and for his work at SRI International in creating ARPANET, a precursor to the modern Internet. Vallée is also an important figure in the study of unidentified flying objects (UFOs), first noted for a defense of the scientific legitimacy of the extraterrestrial hypothesis and later for promoting the interdimensional hypothesis.

In May 1955, Vallée first sighted an unidentified flying object over his Pontoise home. Six years later in 1961, while working on the staff of the French Space Committee, Vallée witnessed the destruction of the tracking tapes of an unknown object orbiting the earth. The particular object was a retrograde satellite -- that is, a satellite orbiting the earth in the opposite direction to the earth's rotation. At the time he observed this, there were no rockets powerful enough to launch such a satellite, so the team was quite excited as they assumed that the Earth's gravity had captured a natural satellite (asteroid). A superior came and erased the tape. These events contributed to Vallée's long-standing interest in the UFO phenomenon.

In the mid-1960s, like many other UFO researchers, Vallée initially attempted to validate the popular Extraterrestrial Hypothesis (or ETH). Leading UFO researcher Jerome Clark[4] argues that Vallée's first two UFO books were among the most scientifically sophisticated defenses of the ETH ever mounted.

Vallée began exploring the commonalities between UFOs, cults, religious movements, demons, angels, ghosts, cryptid sightings, and psychic phenomena. Speculation about these potential links were first detailed in Vallée's third UFO book, Passport to Magonia: From Folklore to Flying Saucers.

As an alternative to the extraterrestrial visitation hypothesis, Vallée has suggested a multidimensional visitation hypothesis. This hypothesis represents an extension of the ETH where the alleged extraterrestrials could be potentially from anywhere. The entities could be multidimensional beyond space-time, and thus could coexist with humans, yet remain undetected.

Best selling author of nine political thrillers, Brad Thor discussed government cover-ups and conspiracies, as well as security and terrorism issues. For his new novel, The Athena Project, about an all-female team of Delta Force operatives, he researched the mysterious Denver International Airport (DIA). The massive airport was built for $5.3 billion, and there are reports it contains eight subterranean levels, he said, adding that construction crews were kept compartmentalized so that none of them could see the overall structure.

He also researched the Philadelphia Experiment for his book, and concluded that the government may specifically float wild conspiracy theories as a way to distract from actual experiments they may be conducting.

Regarding terrorism threats and Homeland Security, he expressed concern that people are vulnerable in areas like airport ticket counters, and security lines. Additionally, he cited "soft targets" like movie theatres, which he said al Qaeda might try to attack to disrupt the American way of life. There are several conspiracy theories relating to the airport's design and construction such as the runways being laid out in a shape similar to a swastika. Murals painted in the baggage claim area have been claimed to contain themes referring to future military oppression and a one-world government. However, the artist, Leo Tanguma, said the murals, entitled "In Peace and Harmony With Nature" and "The Children of the World Dream of Peace," depict man-made environmental destruction and genocide along with humanity coming together to heal nature and live in peace.

Conspiracists have also seen unusual markings in the terminals in DIA and have recorded them as templar markings. They have pointed to unusual words cut into the floor as being Satanic, Masonic, or some impenetrable secret code of the New World Order: Cochetopa, Sisnaajini and Dzit Dit Gaii. These words are actually Navajo terms for geographical sites in Colorado. "Braaksma" and "Villarreal" are actually the names of Carolyn Braaksma and Mark Villarreal, artists who worked on the airport's sculptures and paintings.

There is a dedication marker in the airport inscribed with words, "New World Airport Commission". It also is inscribed with the Square and Compasses of the Freemasons, along with a listing of the two Grand Lodges of Freemasonry in Colorado. It is mounted over a time capsule that was sealed during the dedication of the airport, to be opened in 2094. The Freemasons participated in laying this "capstone" (the last, finishing stone) of the airport project. The capstone is inscribed with a line that states "New World Airport Commission".

Robert Blaskiewicz writing for Skeptical Inquirer Magazine states that conspiracies about the airport range from the "absurd to the even more absurd". Oliver Stone is one of the few in Hollywood and in the United States who tells a honest story. But I am still of the opinion that the US has done more good than bad. However, I will concur that people tend to deify certain elements of US history without knowing all the facts. For example, WWII is described as the "good war." However, Allied troops committed more war crimes in WWII than were committed by US troops in Vietnam. US involvement in WWII was still a good thing, but we shouldn't think they were all beyond reproach.  An "unjust" war is kinda an oxymoron. I'm sure, in 1938, Germans thought their war was just. However, let's take the most "unjust" war of recent memory. Vietnam. Why did the US get involved in Vietnam? Treaty obligation. Either the US could honor it's treaty with South Vietnam or betray South Vietnam and send assistance. You never read about that, but it's true. The US had to send help as part of its treaty with South Vietnam.
