BREAKING: Bush Intercontinental Airport Shooting, Man Opens Fire using AR-15, Shoots Self by Pistol

(KHOU) HOUSTON --- A man shot himself at Bush Intercontinental Airport in north Houston early Thursday afternoon, the Houston Police Department confirmed with KHOU 11 News. The suspect walked into the ticket area inside Terminal B and fired at least two shots into the air with an AR-15 rifle, according to an HPD captain and witnesses. The captain said an air marshal fired at the suspect, but missed. The man then pulled out a pistol and shot himself, the captain said. He was taken away in an ambulance, but an HPD officer at the airport said he didn't survive. There are no other reports of injuries. Terminal B has been closed. A ground stop is also in effect for arriving traffic at Bush IAH, according to the FAA website.

Starting April 10, Australia and China will no longer use the U.S. dollar for trade between the two nations. For the first time, Australian businesses will be able to conduct trade in Chinese yuan. No more need for U.S. dollar intermediation. This is a significant announcement and key development for China as it continues its campaign to internationalize the yuan and chip away at the dollar’s role as the world’s reserve currency.

St. Petersburg, Russia - China and Russia have decided to renounce the US dollar and resort to using their own currencies for bilateral trade, Premier Wen Jiabao and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin announced late on Tuesday.

Hostility is rising between India and China over their disputed Himalayan border and shared water resources.  All of this comes just before Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is scheduled to visit New Delhi next month.

According to the Times of India:
China has reinforced its position in Daulat Bag Oldi (DBO) sector, 19km deep inside Indian territory, where they are getting regular supplies through trucks. According to reports sent to the Union home ministry, the Chinese side had adopted agressive posture during patrolling in the DBO sector, where they have picted five tents, and were refusing to end the face-off which has entered the third week.  Nearly 40 PLA personnel are stationed in five tents in the area which is 70km south of Burtse of DBO sector and a banner reads “You are in Chinese territory”.
