Maitreya (photos), he said, can make himself visible in any form, using "familiars" who become vehicles for his consciousness. In fact, Creme said that it was Maitreya's consciousness that worked through Jesus during his final three years leading up to the crucifixion. Maitreya, he added, also gave advice and instructions to Yasser Arafat, whom Creme characterized as a "great man."

In addition to Maitreya, there are 14 other spiritual "masters of wisdom" who have returned to the world, to assist humanity in moving from one cosmic cycle to the next, including Jesus, who is now located in Rome, said Creme. The other planets in our solar system are teeming with life, though it is on the etheric planes, he noted. UFOs are also made of this less dense, etheric matter but can become visible when they temporarily lower their rate of vibration in order to be seen, he explained.

Biography:

Benjamin Creme, a British artist and long-time student of the Ageless Wisdom Teachings, has become the principal source of information about the emergence of Maitreya, the World Teacher. Not long after, he was informed that Maitreya would return within 20 years and that he (Creme) would be given the opportunity to play an active role in this event if he chose to do so. The earliest mention of Metteyya is in the Cakavatti (Sihanada) Sutta in the Digha Nikaya 26 of the Pali Canon. Prof. Gary R. Habermas discussed the historical evidence for the life of Jesus Christ, based on the work of a cross-section of contemporary scholars. Christ was a Middle Easterner, perhaps darker skinned than people typically picture him, and most scholars agree that he was a miracle worker. There are around 30 accounts of his miracles in the Gospels that can serve as historical documentation. Further, he is the only founder of a major religion to have miracles associated with him within a generation of his death, he said.

Many scholars also believe that at least in some sense Jesus was raised from the dead, Habermas asserted. "It's generally conceded that the disciples had real experiences," in terms of their witnessing his appearance after his death, he added. Alternative accounts of Jesus' life that claim he was married and had children are not backed up by any early historical data, he noted.

Further, the Bible doesn't say anything about 2012, though it may be possible to pull out some references to it using the Bible Code, or by juggling numbers mentioned in certain apocalyptic passages, Heiser continued.

He questioned the idea of the Rapture believed by some Christians, noting that this is a New Testament interpretation based on two different events related to Jesus' second coming, whereas certain occurrences in the Gospel described in different ways, are considered a single event. He spoke about the number 666 mentioned in end times prophecy, which he related to the Greco-Roman concept of the 'magic square of the sun,' a kind of occult mathematics. Through a circuitous route, the number 666 indicates something about the cosmic impostor or enemy to God or Christ, he suggested. Heiser also critiqued the work of Zecharia Sitchin, disagreeing with a number of his translations of Sumerian cuneiform, which form the foundation of his theories about Nibiru, and the Annunaki.

Scientist David Sereda discussed pole shifts and a recent FAA advisory regarding magnetic anomalies in the Bermuda Triangle. Sereda said he believes the FAA advisory, which indicates GPS will be unreliable in the area due to Department of Defense testing, is merely a cover story. According to Sereda, a ham radio operator has discovered the magnetic field anomalies in that region are not manmade, thus could
not be military-related. Recent events, including an evenly-distributed vibration that struck the whole planet and the massive bird die-offs, may indicate Earth is getting ready to find its new magnetic north and south positions, he explained. Such a polar shift would cause devestating earth changes, Sereda warned.

Pole shift hypotheses are not connected with plate tectonics, the well-accepted geological theory that the Earth's surface consists of solid plates which shift over a fluid asthenosphere; nor with continental drift, the corollary to plate tectonics which maintains that locations of the continents have moved slowly over the face of the Earth, resulting in the gradual emerging and breakup of continents and oceans over hundreds of millions of years.

Pole shift hypotheses are not the same as geomagnetic reversal, the periodic reversal of the Earth's magnetic field (effectively switching the north and south magnetic poles).

Academic researchers, Dr. Joseph P. Farrell and Dr. Scott D. de Hart, discussed transhumanism and the hidden history and agenda that have set humanity on a collision course for the Apocalypse. Transhumanism encompasses the total transformation of mankind, Farrell said, pointing out that its adherents view humanity as malleable and capable of being engineered via technological means—a process he likened to alchemy. "The ultimate goal is to reach a higher level of consciousness," de Hart added.

Farrell detailed four stages of the origin of mankind, starting in the highest state of androgyny and falling progressively lower through the mineral, vegetable, and animal conditions. Just as in alchemy, the transhumanists are attempting to reverse engineer the process in order to ascend back up into the primordial androgynous state of unity, Farrell explained. "The idea of fusing man with whatever could be imagined is part of the agenda," de Hart noted. The two cited examples of scientific research aimed at producing chimerical creations, such as a mouse genetically-engineered to produce human sperm cells.

Transhumanistic research raises the prospect that eventually a human being could be created whose parents are not human, they're mice, Farrell continued. He further suggested that GMO foods may be introducing genetic modifications in the people consuming them.
