I'm not sure if the solar flares will happen. However, it is better to get prepared for any catastrophic event that may occur. . We are going to a location where there are lakes and we can hunt and fish. I suggest for people to get as much knowledge on survival techniques as they can. Learn about how to make fires and trap animals etc. Store up on dry foods - nuts, peanut butter lasts a few years - canned food - Ramen noodles lasts a few good years too. And of course store up on water.
