Michael Hastings was an award-winning journalist, a best-selling author and a thorn in the side of the authorities. His article titled General on the Run ended the career of General Stanley McChrystal, the former chief of international forces in Afghanistan. On 18th June he was killed in car crash hours after emailing his colleagues at Buzzfeed to say he was being investigated by the FBI and was onto a big story. There are now a huge number of questions over his death that people want answered.
